Never Think ~ Rob Pattinson
I should never think
What's in your heart
What's in our home
So I won't
You'll learn to hate me
But still call me baby
Oh love
So call me by my name
And save your soul
Save your soul
Before you're too far gone
Before nothing can be done
I'll try to decide when
She'll lie in the end
I ain't got no fight in me
In this whole damn world
Tell you to hold off
You choose to hold on
It's the one thing that I've known
Once I put my coat on
I'm coming out in this all wrong
She's standing outside holding me
Saying oh please
I'm in love
I'm in love
Girl save your soul
Go on save your soul
Before it's too far gone
And before nothing can be done
'Cause without me
You got it all
So hold on
Without me you got it all
So hold on
Without me you got it all
Without me you got it all
So hold on
Without me you got it all
So hold on
Without me you got it all
So hold on
Hold on

Flightless bird, American mouth by Iron & Wine
I was a quick wet boy,
diving too deep for coins
All of your street light eyes
wide on my plastic toys
Then when the cops closed the fair,
I cut my long baby hair
Stole me a dog-eared map
and called for you everywhere
Have I found you
Flightless bird,
jealous,
weeping
or lost you,
american mouth
Big pill looming
Now I'm a fat house cat
Nursing my sore blunt tongue
Watching the warm poison rats
curl through the wide fence cracks
Pissing on magazine photos
Those fishing lures thrown in the cold
And clean blood mountain stream
Have I found you
Flightless bird,
grounded,
bleeding
or lost you,
american mouth
Big pill stuck going down
diving too deep for coins
All of your street light eyes
wide on my plastic toys
Then when the cops closed the fair,
I cut my long baby hair
Stole me a dog-eared map
and called for you everywhere
Have I found you

Maya Hayes: I love penguins.
Emily: Me, too.
Will Hayes: Me, three.
Maya Hayes: Did you know that penguins mate for life? Although, Mr. Monell told us that sometimes the husband and wife penguins get separated because of their migraine patterns.
Will Hayes, Emily: Migratory.
Maya Hayes: Well, sometimes they're apart for years, but they almost always find each other. Do you know what the husband and wife penguins do after they find each other after all that time? Throw back their heads, flap their flippers, and sing as loud as they can! [imitating a penguin]
Maya Hayes: Wah wah wah!

Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard Allah's Apostle saying,
"The good deeds of any person will not make him enter Paradise." (i.e. None can enter Paradise through his good deeds.) They (the Prophet's companions) said, 'Not even you, O Allah's Apostle?' He said, "Not even myself, unless Allah bestows His favor and mercy on me."
So be moderate in your religious deeds and do the deeds that are within your ability: and none of you should wish for death, for if he is a good doer, he may increase his good deeds, and if he is an evil doer, he may repent to Allah."

"Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we know all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?"

Hunter 'Patch' Adams:
Home. The dictionary defines it as both a place of origin and a goal or destination. And the storm? The storm was all in my mind. Or as the poet Dante put it: In the middle of the journey of my life, I found myself in a dark wood, for I had lost the right path. Eventually I would find the right path, but in the most unlikely place.

Love Sonnet XVII - Pablo Neruda
I do not love you as if you were salt-rose, or topaz,
or the arrow of carnations the fire shoots off.
I love you as certain dark things are to be loved,in secret,
between the shadow and the soul.
I love you as the plant that never blooms
but carries in itself the light of hidden flowers;
thanks to your love a certain solid fragrance,
risen from the earth, lives darkly in my body.
I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where.
I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride;
so I love you because I know no other way
than this: where I does not exist, nor you,
so close that your hand on my chest is my hand,
so close that your eyes close as I fall asleep.
I do not love you as if you were salt-rose, or topaz,
or the arrow of carnations the fire shoots off.

"You have come to fight as free men, and free men you are. What will you do with that freedom? Will you fight? Aye, fight and you may die, run and you'll live.
At least a while.
And dying in your beds many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, just one chance to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take our freedom!"
William Wallace

Hamlet:
I do repent; but heaven hath pleas'd it so
To punish me with this, and this with me,
That I must be their scourge and minister.
I will bestow him, and will answer well
The death I gave him.
So again good night.
I must be cruel only to be kind.
This bad begins and worse remains behind.
Hamlet Act 3, scene 4, 173 - 179
Void
As in my hand, I hold happiness
Such moment bring sudden incompleteness
At a time when, once, a dream hastily came
of which all passions and emotions, then held, are untamed
At such nights, I held onto the memories...to the dream
Its coldness as if an answer to vivid triviality
As my soul, half-filled, lost to eternity
Rhythms would sound nostalgic...to melancholy
This night; poignant, resolute, dense...
the dream came back sudden and unworded
and the years of yearning, longing and wonder
now defined with one word, hardly an utter
The dream once filling me with incompleteness
now is distant, unknown, unheld
For what had once been of light and vibrance,
now dimmed and lost of feigned existence
And in my hands, the dream had slipped
when I should have saved such, I did not care
for such dream brings no more but apathy dead of meaning, though still shining, was no longer there

FULL OF HUMILITY by Dawud Wharnsby Ali
Put all our pride away,
always find a gentle word to say
you know we shouldn't fool ourselves,
Allah has given so much to you and me.
Put all our pride away,
Always thank Allah when we pray,
You know we shouldn't be full of ourselves
when we, should be full of humility.
We're all livin' here together on this planet floatin' round the sun
We're all equal to one another,
no one's better than anyone
The only thing we have to weigh us all apart
is the faith only Allah can see, deep inside our hearts.
Put all our pride away,
always find a gentle word to say
you know we shouldn't fool ourselves,
Allah has given so much to you and me.
Put all our pride away,
Always thank Allah when we pray,
You know we shouldn't be full of ourselves
when we, should be full of humility.
Trying hard to simply be humble and never act too proud
It's easy to trip and stumble with your nose up above the clouds
Its always best to be modest and keep our feet on the ground
Cause pride will eat us up inside if we're arrogant and loud.
Put all our pride away,
always find a gentle word to say
you know we shouldn't fool ourselves,
Allah has given so much to you and me.
Put all our pride away,
Always thank Allah when we prey,
You know we shouldn't be full of ourselves
when we, should be full of humility.

If I am to close my eyes and never to waken
Let my mind be filled with wonderful thoughts of you
For I have lived, but was forgone by emptiness
I could not see your face, your eyes evade me
How am I to drift to slumber when you’re lost from my dreams?
If I am to close my eyes and never to waken
Let me be still and stay in your silence
For in such I have neither fear nor uncertainties
I could not hear my voice, your own could not fill me
How can I be of peace when thoughts of you fail to overwhelm me?
If I am to close my eyes and never to waken
Let God be giving and my wish fulfilled, let it be you that I last see
For the chance may be taken and could not be given once more
Even for a time. A stolen moment. Even if it be a lie.
I’ll then be happy till my last waking hour.
Let my mind be filled with wonderful thoughts of you
For I have lived, but was forgone by emptiness
I could not see your face, your eyes evade me

Samantha : I've lost my orgasm.
Carrie : In the cab?
Charlotte : What do you mean, 'lost'?
Samantha : I just spent the last two hours fucking with no finale.
Carrie : It happens. Sometimes you just can't get there.
Samantha : I can always get there.
Charlotte : Every time you have sex?
Carrie : She's exaggerating. Please say you're exaggerating.
Samantha : Well, I'll admit I have had to polish myself off once or twice, but yes! When I RSVP to a party, I make it my business to come.
ps: dont u just adore her? i heart samantha jones!

Later that day I got to thinking about relationships.
There are those that open you up to something new and exotic, those that are old and familiar, those that bring up lots of questions, those that bring you somewhere unexpected, those that bring you far from where you started, and those that bring you back.
But the most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself.
And if you can find someone to love the you you love, well, that's just fabulous.

I KNOW that I shall meet my fate
Somewhere among the clouds above;
Those that I fight I do not hate
Those that I guard I do not love;
My country is Kiltartan Cross,
My countrymen Kiltartan's poor,
No likely end could bring them loss
Or leave them happier than before.
Nor law, nor duty bade me fight,
Nor public man, nor cheering crowds,
A lonely impulse of delight
Drove to this tumult in the clouds;
I balanced all, brought all to mind,
The years to come seemed waste of breath,
A waste of breath the years behind
In balance with this life, this death.
from "An Irish Airman Foresees His Death" - William Butler Yeats
This poem was recited by Sgt. Danny Daly, Radioman, before the crew went up for their final mission in the film "Memphis Belle".

In a world gone mad it’s hard to think right
So much violence hate and spite
Murder going on all day and night
Due time we fight the non-violent fight
Now how many people must get killed?
For oil families pockets to get filled?
How many oil families get killed?
Not a damn one so what’s the deal?
And we, condemned to repeat history
In spiraling murderous circles
The well is full of the dead
Where, then, do we wash our hands?
In whose blood, but the Enemy?

Discovery
It is the beauty in you that I see.
Innate. Infinite. Real.
The kind not all are fortunate
to glimpse upon
One which from the beginning
held me at awe
And each day, I see it grow.
Filling me, completing me.
Your laughter, tears, confusion
anguish and pain...
Your mere presence that soothes me,
mind and heart.
It is in you that I have known
the gifts of life
It's enigmatic existence
for which I have no answers
Its complexity and relativity
that leaves me confounded.
It is in you that I have found singularity
and somewhat sense of peace.
It is in you...
that in irony
I feel without touch
I breathe without air...that
I hide without cover
It is in you...that I have found and lost me.
Innate. Infinite. Real.
The kind not all are fortunate

"I confessed my love for her, and with a burning pain in my heart I realized how unnecessary, how petty, and how deceptive all that had hindered us from loving was. I understood that when you love you must either, in your judgments about that love, start from what is highest, from what is more important than happiness or unhappiness, sin or virtue in their accepted meaning, or you must not judge at all.
"I kissed her for the last time, pressed her hand, and we parted forever. The train was already in motion."
- from "On Love"
Everything that is said in [Chekhov's] works about the fate of the world and of people is in essence so simple that it might enter the head of any ordinary person...But Chekhov expressed this simple wisdom in words so magically beautiful and, in their beauty, so comforting, that everyone was left with the impression that somehow he had been reassured about something...For all these sufferers of life the creations of Chekhov acted as a sudden revivifying flood of tears which are evoked by deep suffering, but which, after flowing, relieve the soul, lighten sorrow, and reconcile one with the most inconsolable misery.
